Students in grades K-6 attending a Westside feeder school are invited to participate in this special tradition that brings together Lakota's future Firebirds. The event, hosted by the Lakota West PTSO, is an extension of Lakota West's football game on Sept. 27 against Colerain. The flow of the evening is as follows (see event map for detailed locations, as noted below): 

• 5:30 - 6:30 p.m. - Registration (Area 1):
  • Lakota West feeder students who want to participate in Future Firebird Night must report to the Firebird Pavilion (between the Baseball Field and Tennis Courts)
  • Students will receive a wristband, which will be used to identify the kids for the pavilion games and entrance to the game.
     
• 6:30 p.m. - Parade
  • Students will be guided to the west side of the Cummins Soccer Stadium (Area 2) to line up  by school. 
  • Around 6:50 p.m., the parade will begin at the sound end of the track (Area 3) along the home sideline. 
     
• 6:55 p.m. - National Anthem & Tunnel
  • Following the National Anthem, students will form a tunnel to help welcome the Lakota West football team on to the field. 
  • The parade will continue down the track (behind the visitor bench and around the south end zone, ending at the Soccer Field (Red Line).
     
• Approximately 8:00 p.m. - Pick-Up
  • The Pick-Up area for kids not staying for the game is the Pavilion (Area 4) 

Ticket Details

Admission is free for students K-6. Tickets for adults and students grades 7-12 can be purchased here: https://gowestfirebirds.com/buy-online/. 

• Parents with a ticket or pass to the game will be able to enter the soccer field area. These individuals will be able to access the fan bleacher area from here. Tickets will be scanned at the gate from the pavilion to the soccer field.
• Parents without a ticket who are not attending the game will remain in the pavilion area until the kids return following parade.
• Only students who register at the pavilion during the registration time will get Free Admission to the game and will be the ones who participate in the parade. These students will be taken into the stadium through a different gate, not the Main Ticket Gate. 
• Kids/families who come after the Pavilion Registration is completed will have to enter the Main Ticket Gate and will have to buy tickets (parent and student)- Tickets at the gate are $9.
