Community Input Opportunities: Master Facilities Plan

Community Input Opportunities: Master Facilities Plan

The outcome of the Nov. 4, 2025 vote on Lakota's bond issue and permanent improvement levy provide an opportunity for the Board of Education and district leaders to reflect and refocus as we continue working toward solutions for the future of Lakota Local Schools. We recognize the importance of listening and learning from our community as we plan the next steps for our district.

The challenges it aimed to address—large class sizes, aging infrastructure and facilities, safety and security and long-term sustainability—still exist. We invite you to share your ideas as to how the Master Facilities Plan can be improved.

Attend a community feedback session:

  • Dec. 18 at 8 a.m. | Boys and Girls Club of West Chester Liberty
  • Jan. 6 at 6:30 p.m. | Lakota East Freshman Innovation Hub
  • Jan. 8 at 12:30 p.m. | MidPointe Library West Chester

Participate in the ThoughtExchange survey:

We invite you to respond to the specific survey questions and share your individual ideas as to how the Master Facilities Plan can be improved in this ThoughtExchange. Please be sure to return to the exchange to rate the ideas that other community members share.

The exchange will close at noon on Jan. 9, 2026.
