Celebrate Differences: Heritage’s Acceptance Week
March is Disability Awareness Month, and at Heritage, we are proud to celebrate our differences and promote inclusion. This week, we invite everyone to participate in Heritage’s Acceptance Week, where we honor diversity, encourage understanding, and foster a community of belonging.
Monday, March 24th-Heritage has Heart!-WE believe with brave hearts that ALL students can learn and grow! Wear your Heritage Heart shirt or any Heritage shirt.
Tuesday, March 25th-It's a Match!-Everyone is unique and has heart! Dress in mix match socks, clothes, shoes, etc.!
Wednesday, March 26th-Wellness Wednesday-WE celebrate sensory with calm, relaxing fabric! Wear clothes that make you feel calm and comfortable.
Thursday, May 27th-Thoughtful Thinking!-WE respect everyone and think positive thoughts! Wear a hat or come with a cool hair style.
Friday, May 28th-Emotions on your Sleeve!-WE include ALL emotions and embrace them! Wear your favorite color that matches your emotion!
