Endeavor Class Placement Requests

Each spring, Lakota elementary school administrators and teachers spend a significant amount of time preparing class lists for the upcoming year. The  first priority for class placement in all Lakota elementary schools is to create well-balanced classrooms for all students. In order to accomplish this goal, many factors must be taken into consideration. All schools look at factors such as overall academic ability, value added projections, MAP, OST assessments, classroom performance, and social interactions to determine placement. We are very consistent in this practice. 

Information from your child’s current classroom teacher is the first priority in this process. Administrators will meet with our teachers to create balanced class groups for next year. We understand that you may have other information to share about your child. If you have critical information regarding class placement you may fill out this form by the end of school on Thursday, May 22nd for consideration. Please complete this form only if there are important factors that you wish us to consider.
